The Atlantic Wall was 13,000 miles long
The Atlantic Wall was the name given to a massive coastal defensive structure built on Hitler’s orders that stretched all the way from Norway to the English Channel and Mediterranean Sea. The wall was largely ineffective and not as effective as Hitler and his Nazi regime could have hoped. Historians still debate what it might have accomplished if it had been properly utilized.
